Recent data from Lands of America shows $931 million in land and rural real estate for sale for sale in the Evergreen State. This represents 111,245 acres of land for sale in Washington. Of Washington's 39 counties, Lewis County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. The most expensive land listed for sale in Washington on Lands of America recently was $70 million, while the median price for land, homesites and other rural acreage for sale in Washington was $358,468. The average price of land and rural property for sale in Washington was $530,048. There was 143 acres of sold land in Washington recorded in September 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a decrease in sales activity over August 2018 data. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $2.0 million. Lewis County recorded the most land sales recently in the state. Thirty-three wildlife management areas cover almost a million acres of land in Washington and offer hunters access to game species including waterfowl, grouse, pheasant, elk and wild turkey.
