The cabin is furnished with sustainable green electricity. Three 80 watt solar panels (so 240 watt in total), rack mounted on the roof, a charge controller, batteries and 1750 watt Xantrex inverter make up the system. A generator connection for the battery charger is also available. The cabin has an outside light on both porches, lights in all the inside living spaces and up in the loft. Inside there are multiple interior and exterior outlets. The system can, for example, support a laptop, coffeemaker and a small microwave, for a maximum of 1750 watts. The system is set-up in a way that it can be easily expanded to triple the solar panel capacity. The batteries are high quality, deep cycle Trojans, four in a configuration of 12 V and should provide about 10 years of service. All equipment is new and has full manufacturer's warranty.
On 2 oversized lots (60' x 108'), 6480 sqft. Level parcel with territorial views, mostly cleared (partly treed). Very easy (gravel) road access. 3 corners surveyed/1 flagged. To the west and south this parcel borders a 60' not-to-be developed platted road for extra privacy and use. The old logging grade passes over the NE corner of the parcel. |
